Reflection:
As an interior architect who worked in various firms and has an experience in teaching undergrad students, two educational areas for the future of architectural education excite me most are: 3D Printing and Virtual Reality. I had an opportunity to delve into 3D Printing while making Opportunity Forecast OER so for the analyst report I wanted to research Virtual Reality through Immersive VR Education Limited. What strikes me through this process is that before getting big investments, the company first created an educational game that wins international awards. By this way they have shown what they were capable of and in my opinion the game itself created an interest in the educational platform. The fact that this platform is free and highly customisable are two key elements for marketing in developing countries like Turkey. The company's small but skilled members showed me how important to create a team with different specialities. These are important lessons before my Venture Pitch assignment, and for that I would like to focus on where the possibilities of Virtual Reality and 3D Printing intersect and what can be profitable solutions in the Global Market.
